How to Paint a Happy Little Pine Tree

Hello there! I hope autumn is treating you well and you are enjoying the changing colors like a slightly deranged leaf-peeper! I think if I point out another glowing gold maple or rusty red oak to my girls they will lose their minds! (I probably won’t stop though!)

I like to think of the span between November 1 and January 2 as just a lovely, warm, season of cozy nights, family gatherings and general cheer and good will. Lord knows we could use all of that and more right now! Honestly my very favorite part is giving gifts. I really enjoy watching people’s faces light up when I have found the perfect, personal present.

In the interest of gift giving…here is a really quick, 5 minute pine tree tutorial made just for you! Painting pines can be very relaxing and meditative. Try painting a whole page of nothing but loose, happy little evergreens sometime. I hope you find it fun and therapeutic. You can find my class, Ten Minute Trees, on Skillshare if you’d like to learn more ways to paint watercolor pines. Just check my Contact page for a link! Happy painting my friends!
